This song was somewhat inspired by Justin Timberlake’s “Like I Love You,” but the inspiration was that I love the world of Middle-earth, which J.R.R. Tolkien created. So when I listened to the song, I imagined myself as one of the wandering rangers fighting the dark forces that are left after Sauron was defeated, but traveled to these realms inhabited by the free folk of Middle-earth. I mean who would not want to see Middle Earth from the beautiful, magical, ancient but fading realms of the elves to the beauty of the mines and the majestic cities of the dwarves to the realms of men that are breathtaking sights to behold to the horrific realms of evil and to the sublime of nature of the shire, the old forest, and fangorn forest. I wrote this song after many years of it living in my head. It’s a love letter to Middle-earth. I still can’t wait to see it come to fruition.
