Apotheosis represents the potential for release within all of us, and anyone can achieve it. The apotheosis happens when the boundary of consciousness breaks, freeing the hero from all fear and making them unreachable by change. There will be an apotheosis in my story.
Example one: In *Return of the Jedi*, Luke told the emperor that he would never turn to the Dark Side and that the emperor failed. He is a Jedi, like his father before him.
Example two: In *Kingdom of Heaven*, Balian’s apotheosis happens when he defends Jerusalem in a final stand by protecting the people, negotiating for peace, and seeking to unite rather than divide, contrasting the brutality of war, which symbolizes his knighthood: compassion and chivalry: Rise a Knight!!
